Behind Snejada
meet maëlle
Hi! My name is Maëlle Beslic, founder of Snejada. You might wonder, why Snejada? I wanted my brand’s name to have a meaning, a strong one. I named it after my two grandmothers, Josiane and Darinka. One that I am really close to, one that I have never met before, my mother lost her when she was younger. But what I know is that both of them are strong. I mixed their two names with the name my parents wanted to name me: Snejana (Snow White in Serbian).
I started filming and editing videos with my digital camera and my first computer at a very young age. I’ve always like to record things that I liked: fashion, the people I care about, sometimes myself, products I like, pretty views, travels... You got it I have just always loved and enjoyed creating content.

STRATEGY CALL
Before creating content and posting on social media, it is important to understand who we are trying to reach, who is the client’s community, who is the target audience. After determining these key points, we need to build a posting/content strategy on how we will be posting the content, when, how often... We also need to set weekly or monthly goals about the reach we are trying to get and if we want to transform viewers into followers and followers into clients.

WEDDINGS
Whether you are a wedding planner, wedding photographer or you need wish to create beautiful memories of your own wedding, Snejada does it for you. Wedding filming and editing is my favorite type of content. I truly enjoy watching the hapiness during these moments and create something magical out of it. Here are examples from my work with @westimagery a wedding photographer and videographer.
RESTAURANTS
I have partnered in 2023 with restaurants in St. Louis and Chicago to create content that I posted on my personal page on Instagram and TikTok @maellebeslic and collaborated with @stlbucketlist (cuurently 173k followers) and @chicago.explore (535k followers).
DISCO STL
I am a content creator for DISCO STL, an event planning company in St. Louis, Missouri. Brittany Dawyer (CEO) and I are in contact so that she can send me content that she films or that her team films, I edit videos and post the content on her Instagram page @discostl.

Instagram is my favorite platform to post personal content. I am currently growing my page by posting consistently and building a community. My content is about romanticizing life, travels, and my life in my 20s…

TikTok is a great platform to build a community as well. I post similar videos from Instagram and also use TikTok features like carousels to post tips about mental health and advices for girls in their 20s.
